An agreement to this effect was signed in Hanoi on January 26 by Vietnamese Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Nguyen Phu Binh and Turkish Ambassador to Vietnam Yahya Akkurt.
The agreement will come into force 30 days after both countries complete their relevant procedures.
It will replace the previous agreement on visa exemption for diplomatic passport holders signed between the two nations in 1998.
